Idaho wins two separate golf tournaments

Tournament-host Idaho shot a final-round 283 and finished with a three-round total of 853 to take first place at the Vandal Fall Classic men's golf tournament held at the University of Idaho Golf Course. Gabriel Wilson shot a final-round 66 and finished tied for 5th to lead the Vandals. Wilson's teammate Jacob Koppenberg was not far behind, finishing two shots back, good enough for fifth place.

Gonzaga finished in sixth place with a three-round total of 871. Trevor Loe shot a 211 to lead the Bulldogs, good enough for a 5th-place tie.

Whitworth shot a total of 895 and took 11th place. Jordan Carter finished in a tie for 14th place with a total of 216 to lead the Pirates.

Women's golf

Idaho shot a three-round total of 908, finishing four shots better then Eastern Washington, to take first place at the Inland Empire Women's Intercollegiate golf tournament at Hangman Valley Golf Course. Kelly Nakashima took first individually for the Vandals, finishing with a total of 219. Amanda Jacobs took third with a 221.

Eastern Washington finished with a total of 912, led by Marli Mikulecky, who finished in second place with a total of 220.

Gonzaga took third overall, led by Sarah Sheffield and Mary Kate Morgan, who finished tied for 5th at 222.
