Des Moines is located on Puget Sound just southwest of Sea-Tac. (The ''other'' Des Moines is a city about the size of Spokane located in the center of Iowa.) Evergreen Lutheran emphasizes Christian values, and spells them in out in some detail. According to school policies, public displays of affection (PDA's) are ''not allowed at any of our school facilities or functions.'' Marriage is ''strongly discouraged'' but allowable under certain conditions. (Just don't kiss the bride at school?)
