Quilcene is a small town nestled between the majestic Olympic Mountains and the scenic waters of The Hood Canal. The first graduating class at the school was in 1911, with four graduates. Enrollment has skyrocketed since then, with 21 graduates in 2001. Oddly, the mascot of Quilcene is the Rangers. You’d think the team would be named after the famous Quilcene oysters.
