Boys: La Conner 58, Lind-Ritzville 45
Highlights: After being tied at halftime and up only one with a minute left in the third, La Conner used a 12-2 run to widen their lead and hold on for a 58-45 victory over Lind-Ritzville.
La Conner had were led by their big three, Senior Jeremy Vander Lei who scored 18 and juniors Brandon Willey and Erik Lindeman who had 15 and 11, respectively.
The Braves did a great job against Lind-Ritzville’s top scorer Jamie Stevenson holding him to only seven points on the night. Stevenson averaged 16 points a game coming in.
After falling behind by as much as 10 in the fourth quarter the Broncos cut the lead to five with just under four minutes remaining but couldn’t get any closer.
Senior Cory Whitmore, the only Bronco in double figures, led the team with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
