Boys: Napavine 68, Seattle Lutheran 42
Highlights: Down 11-8 in the first quarter, Napavine used a 10-0 run to close the quarter up seven and continued their momentum the rest of the game winning easily over Seattle Lutheran 68-42.
Senior Justin Smith scored a career-high 21 for the Tigers while also grabbing a team-high eight rebounds. Senior captain Blake Anthony also dropped in 24 of his own. The two, with 30 combined, outscored the Saints in the first half by seven.
Seattle Lutheran senior Beau Severson did everything he could for the Saints scoring a game-high 27 including 14 of the team’s 19 in the second half. On the season Beau only averaged seven points a game
Napavine simply outplayed their opponents, shooting over 55 percent from the field, outrebounding the Saints by 18 and shooting 15 more free throws.
