Girls: Napavine 49, La Conner 23
Highlights: Napavine built a 20-9 half-time lead was never really in jeopardy as the Tigers (24-0) eased their way to a 49-23 victory over La Conner (17-5).
La Conner fought back to within nine midway through the third quarter, but apavine answered with an 11-0 run that stretched the lead back to 20 at the end of the third quarter. Sophomore Ali Brossard hit back-to-back unanswered shots for the Tigers, a two and a three. After a free throw, Lacey Morris hit a three from the top of the key to make the score 35-15. Napavine kept the lead at 20 the rest of the way.
Napavine held the Braves to 22 percent shooting on the night, while converting 22 La Conner turnovers into 18 points.
Senior Nicole Hamre was the only scorer in double figures with 10, while Kristen Lantau added eight points and six rebounds for the Tigers, who out-rebounded the Braves 36-27.
