Girls: Pomeroy 57, Lind-Ritzville 52
Highlights: It took Pomeroy a while to capture the lead, but once the Pirates were ahead, they never looked back.
Behind senior Kacie Uto's game high 21 points and seven rebounds, the Pirates completed a comeback which took three and a half quarters.
Uto was fouled on a 3-point attempt with five minutes left to play and she hit two of her free throws to tie the game at 46. After Pomeroy forced a shot clock violation, they took the lead on a Uto layup and never gave it back.
Emmy Bouwman's two free throws with 1:15 remaining brought the Broncos within two, but Michelle FitzGerald and Taelor Braun were able to knock down three more foul shots to seal the victory.
Braun added 16 points and five steals for the Pirates.
