Boys: Toutle Lake 56, Wahkiakum 51

Highlights: The fourth time wasn’t that different from the previous three as Toutle Lake was again the victor in a hard fought 56-51 win over Wahkiakum.

After losing the first three times by an average of 22 points, the Mules played the Ducks much closer and even led by nine in the second quarter. But in the end it was the Ducks who finished the game on a 7-2 run for the win.

Senior Jeston Harris not always known for his offensive outputs scored all 10 of his points in the decisive fourth quarter for the Ducks.

The league rivals battled back and forth changing leads 11 times throughout the game. When it counted though it was the undefeated Ducks who prevailed.

The Mules who shot only 25 percent beyond the arc got a good contribution from senior forward Hayden Miles down low. He scored 12 points on 3 of 6 shooting from the field and 5 of 6 from the line.
