Boys: Riverside Chr. 55, Lind-Ritzville 49
Highlights: Riverside Christian trailed for the first 27 minutes of the game, but stepped up late when it counted to pull out a 55-49 quarterfinal win over Lind-Ritzville.
The Crusaders, trailing by two heading into the final quarter, held the Broncos to eight fourth quarter points and hit some key free throws down the stretch going 4-6 in the final minutes for the win.
Senior guard Chris Pynch really led his Riverside Christian team down the stretch scoring seven of his 18 points in the fourth quarter. He also came up with some huge rebounds leading the team with six. Senior Jered Cates led the team with 19 points.
The Broncos were led by sophomore Jamie Stevenson who scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the first half. The Broncos were outscored at the free throw line 17-8.
The Crusaders will take on the winner of Wahkiakum/Toutle Lake tomorrow in the night cap at 9 p.m. Lind-Ritzville will play in a loser-out game tomorrow against the loser of the Wahkiakum/Toutle Lake at 4 p.m.
