Liberty Christian (22-4) was in control most of the afternoon trailing only once early in the first quarter. The Patriots used a 12-3 run at the start of the fourth to widen their lead for good.
Quilcene (20-8), now eliminated, was led by senior Nate Burlingame who scored a team-high 15 points.
Rangers’ leading scorer Chris Bacchus who came in averaging 20.5 points in his first two games was held to just six.
The Patriots lived at the free throw line, taking 32 and making 23, while Quilcene went just three of six from the stripe.
Liberty Christian will play tomorrow at noon in the fifth-place game against the winner of North Beach/Lind-Ritzville.
