Davenport has been tied with Northwest Christian most of this game, and currently trails 33-31 with 2:29 left in the third. Northwest Christian has already beaten Davenport four times this year, but the Gorillas don't seem to be intimidated.

The Bulldogs handled the formerly undefeated Napavine 56-35 to win the State 2B Girls Championship.
Kayla Johnson making her case for MVP

The Colfax junior has 15 points in the first half of the championship game to lead the Bulldogs' over Napavine 26-13 with less than a minute left in the half.
Johnson is on pace to record her third-straight 20-point game of the tournament.

When the time came, senior Matt Zandbergen came up huge scoring 18 points, eight in overtime, and pulling down 16 rebounds as Northwest Christian used every inch of magic they had left to escape 59-46 over Garfield-Palouse.

Taylor Morgan dominated the low post with 22 points and 13 rebounds to help Davenport knock off White Swan 57-50 in the first semifinal.

I haven't seen this much support for two teams yet in this tournament. There's a packed house for the semifinal between White Swan and Davenport.
La Salle vs. Napavine close early on

In rematch of last year's championship, Napavine leads La Salle girls 13-10 with three minutes left in the first quarter, in a game that's gone back and forth from the start.
After four straight blowouts, a competitive game would be a welcome sight.
Let's hope it continues to be an exciting semifinal.
UPDATE: With 4:54 left in the half, Napavine leads La Salle 24-19.

Blake Anthony, coming off a tough nine-point performance, led Napavine with 18 points and six rebounds to help the Tigers advance to the fourth-place game with a 54-31 victory over La Conner.

The last quarterfinal game of the night can be summed up by the 21-0 run by Garfield-Palouse to start the second half. The Vikings dominated the ball on both ends of the floor beating La Conner 57-29.

Led by senior leader Chase Ramey’s 15 points, Northwest Christian began the second half on a 16-4 run and stretched a six-point lead to 18 en route to a 55-33 win over Napavine.
