Toutle Lake Junior/Senior High School on Spirit Lake Highway serves grades 7 through 12 in a rural community near Mount St. Helens with a population of approximately 3,488. The school newspaper, The Toutle Times, carries ads for chain saws, farm equipment and taxidermy services.
The school’s web site publishes something every fan should know: The Ten Commandments for Spectators.
These aren’t many schools in the country with the Toutle Lake mascot: The Fighting Ducks.
