Wahkiakum is located just upstream from the mouth of the Columbia River. There are roughly 3,800 people in all of Wahkiakum County. The county seat, Cathlamet, has 565 residents. We’re talking small. It’s also the second-oldest city in Washington. The locals admit "We're A Little Out Of The Way," but insist it’s "Worth The Adventure!"
