Megan Spence scored a game-high 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds and the Warriors used a dominating second-quarter effort to beat the Crusaders.

Megan Morris added 10 points for King's West, which outscored Tacoma Baptist 15-4 in the second quarter to take a 27-14 halftime lead. The Warriors outscored the Crusaders 13-5 in the third to put the game away.

Tacoma Baptist was led by Melanie Shank, who scored 17 points.

The Lightning, last year's runner-up and state champion in 2006, dominated from the outset and cruised to a first-round victory over the Crusaders.

La Salle opened with a 12-4 run and led 21-9 after the first quarter. The veteran Lightning followed that up with a 23-13 second quarter and led 44-22 at the half.

Jasmine Stohr had 23 points and six steals and Monica Schneider added 14 points to lead La Salle, which forced Northwest Christian into committing 31 turnovers.

Hayley Hendricksen had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Bryanna Bailey added 13 points to lead the Crusaders.

Breanna Moody scored nine of her game-high 23 points in the fourth quarter as the Panthers defeated the Pirates.

Jennifer Mullins added 10 points and six rebounds for the Panthers, who led 28-21 at halftime.

The Pirates ended the third quarter on a 6-0 run to close the gap to 43-39 heading into the fourth. But Moody took over in the fourth to guide White Pass to the victory.

Michelle FitzGerald had 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting to lead Pomeroy.

The Dragons scored the first 10 points and cruised to a win over the Eagles.

Chessey Thomas scored a game-high 16 points and Lizzie McQuade added 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Dragons, who led 14-4 after the first quarter. The Eagles fought back in the second, outscoring St. George's 12-4 to cut the halftime deficit to two points.

The Dragons put the game away in the second half, outscoring Evergreen Lutheran 35-16.

Kelsey DAndrade had 11 points to lead the Eagles.

The Tigers employed impressive man-to-man defense and a balanced offensive attack in a win over the Braves.

Laina Potter led Napavine with eight points and four steals. La Conner, making its first state tournament appearance since 1993, was paced by Sabrina Schwindler's nine points.

Also for Napavine, Courtney May had four steals and five rebounds. Cora Kellerman led La Conner with eight rebounds.

Napavine opened the game with an 18-1 run and led 20-3 at the half.

La Conner outrebounded Napavine 33-27.

Senior Korrie Bourn recorded a double-double for the Mountain Lions with 14 points (all in the first half) and 13 rebounds. Bourn shot 2 of 4 from the 3-point line. The Lancers received seven points each from Heather Kjack and Taz Brooks.

Liberty Bell played aggressive half-court offense en route to a 33-12 halftime lead.

The Mountain Lions shot 36.8 percent from the field, including 5 of 15 on 3-pointers.

A 19-0 run that spanned the first and second quarters helped the Broncos put away the Saints.

Emmy Bouwman ignited the run with a 3-pointer to make the score 7-3 in favor of Seattle Lutheran in the first quarter. After the run, Lind-Ritzville would lead 19-7 with 4:31 remaining until halftime.

Emmy Bouwman and Devon Killian led the Broncos with 12 points each.
