Tacoma Baptist wraps up fifth place

The Crusaders survived a second half comeback by the Tigers. Entiat trailed by 11 at halftime and closed the lead to two at the end of the third quarter 33-31. But The Crusaders steeled themselves in the fourth quarter, holding Entiat to 9 points in the final frame. Melanie Shank led all scorers with 17 points. ( Full post )

A emotional farewell for BC senior Jamie Meyer, who has been as valuable to his team as any player at this tournament. The Grizzlies, though, coasted in this game, with Meyer getting plenty of help from his supporting cast. Peterson and Strandin led the way in points, with Strandin dominating in the paint.
