Highlights: Playing beat the clock to perfection, Chad Den Boer hit a leaning 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift the defending state champs over St. John-Endicott.
Just seconds earlier senior Bryce Johnson's baseline jumper had put the Eagles in front 53-51 with 4.5 seconds remaining.
Den Boer, a senior guard, amassed 22 points and eight rebounds. Sophomore Joel Koopmans added 12 points for the Knights, who used just six players.
Johnson's 14 points paced a balance attack for St. John-Endicott. Brent Leifer and Jesse Butcher each scored 11 points and Justin Taylor had 10.
