La Salle 41, Sunnyside Chr. 37

Highlights: The Lightning beat their league rival for the fourth time this season to qualify for the semifinals.
Though trailing most of the game, Sunnyside Christian pulled within 36-35 on Emily Hernandez's three-pointer at 1:08.
But Molly McGee converted an offensive rebound at the other end, then hit two free throws to put La Salle ahead by five with 20 seconds left.
The junior forward had a game-high 11 points, along with eight rebounds, three steals, two assists and two blocked shots. Sophomore Jasmine Stohr added 10 points.
Tori Van Wingerden was the only double-figure scorer for the Knights with 10 points. Emma Newhouse grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
Sunnyside Christian outrebounded La Salle 40-28 but shot just 26.2 percent (11-42). The Lightning were marginally better at 31.7 percent (13-41), though they made just one 3-pointer in 13 attempts.
