Curlew 53, Evergreen Lutheran 36

Highlights: Nichole Miller and Erika Laeke performed "Dueling Baskets" in the first half, but Miller's Cougars pulled away in the second to win their quarterfinal game.
The junior center scored all 12 of her team-high points before intermission.
Laete had 13 in the first 16 minutes and finished with 17. Also a junior, Laete grabbed 14 rebounds as well.
However, Curlew got 11 points apiece from Kyanne Somday and Kady Kirkendall. And Amanda Grumbach was highly productive with eight points, eight rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
Keyed by Kirkendall, who scored nine points after the break, Curlew had a 10-0 run in the third quarter to take control.
