Republic 71, Neah Bay 47

Highlights: Republic reeled off 20 unanswered points in the first half en route to a convincing quarterfinal

victory over the Red Devils.
Derek Gianukakis emulated older brother Zach's tourney-high first-day scoring total by tossing in 31 points on 13 for 18 shooting (72 percent). The 6-3 junior swept off 23 rebounds as well to take the tournament lead in that department.
Zach had 22 points, seven boards and four assists. Classmate Todd Orestad added 12 points and five assists.
Seniors Timothy Greene and Henry Cross each netted 14 points for Neah Bay, Cross getting a team-high six rebounds.
Republic shot 51 percent from the field (25-49). Neah Bay was 16 for 54 (29.6 percent) and was outrebounded 44-25.
