King's West 54, Toutle Lake 33

Highlights: The Warriors pulled away in the second half to win their state tourney debut against Toutle Lake Wednesday evening.
Ahead by five points at the break, King's West used a 12-3 run to lead 36-22 going into the final quarter. Four senior starters paced the Warriors (23-3). Adam Shildmyer had 16 points, five rebounds and two assists. Jesse Reeves added 11 points and four assists. Erik Bright got 10 points, six boards, two assists and two steals. John Lamsma contributed nine points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Junior guard Ryan Hoff led the Ducks (17-7) with 16 points and four assists. Senior Ryan Helmtemes grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.
