Along with the daily excitement of more than 65 rides and attractions at Silverwood Theme Park, there are special events planned all summer including discounted admission prices for different guests, such as moms on Mother's Day, dads on Father's Day and military/public safety agencies on Memorial Day.
There are also unique partnerships, such as Physics and Science Days in May, where school groups are invited to learn about gravity and other laws of nature in fun, new ways, including roller coaster rides or figuring out how to drop an egg from a high place without it breaking.
Coaster Classic - Labor Day Weekend is a perfect time for one of the region's larger car shows. Members of the Inland Empire Late Great Chevy Club 55-72 and NAPAAuto Parts will help Silverwood Theme Park organize the eighth-annual celebration of the classic car Aug. 30, which includes a show and shine, and the chance for car owners to bring home awards from best engine to best paint, along with the top modified and stock cars from the 1930s to the 1970s. The $15 registration fee includes free admission for driver and a passenger into Silverwood and Boulder Beach that day. Discount admission is available for other passengers or guests.
Excelerator - Marble Productions and NAPAAuto Parts join with Silverwood Theme Park for the seventh-annual celebration of imports, compact cars, SUVs, trucks and sport bikes. The Sept. 6 event includes dB drags, which test how loud your stereo can go, not how fast your car goes; more than 50 awards in various auto and club categories (including sanctioned points from the National Custom Car Association); and music from 12 nationally-known DJs on two stages, such as TinaT from Tao in Las Vegas and Revy-Live PA from Tokyo. Vendors will offer the latest in street and sound gear and plenty of giveaways through the day.
Registration includes free admission into Silverwood and Boulder Beach for the driver and a guest, and discounted admission for other guests.

Other fall fun - if you're looking to save money on your park admission and also help the community, you can now do both in September. This starts with "It's a Grand Day" Sept. 7, where area grandparents can get free entry when accompanied by a grandchild. (Each grandchild will be given one free ticket when they buy their own ticket at the front gate.) Then, each weekend in September starting Sept. 6, all merchandise in park stores will be half-price, so there are plenty of great deals to be had.
Finally everyone who visits the park with at least two cans of food Sept. 13-14, 20-21 or 27-28 can receive a half-price admission ticket. Donations will be shared with local food banks.
