Zillow
The iPad app for the popular real estate site (zillow.com) lets homebuyers search for homes for sale or rent and filter the searches by price, the number of beds and baths in the home or potential monthly payments. Buyers can view full-screen color photos on the iPad’s 10-inch touch screen and can easily drag-and-drop homes into a favorites section. Zestimates – Zillow’s proprietary home-value system – are available, as are Push notifications of new listings. You can view side-by-side photos of homes as you move from neighborhood to neighborhood, expand photos from Apple’s Stacks feature and even e-mail and share listings on Facebook.

ZipRealty
The iPad app for ZipRealty.com features more than 1 million MLS-listed homes for sale in 36 markets in 22 states and Washington, D.C. New listings, price reductions and foreclosures are updated daily. Buyers can search for homes by ZIP code, price, location and size, and even search recently-sold home prices. Home-value estimates are available from Cyberhomes and Eppraisal. Details on homes for sale in more than 4,000 cities are available with GPS mapping service, which also provides location-aware service and driving directions to help buyers between viewings. Buyers can tap the screen to view details of any home with HomeScan™ technology, including asking/sold price and distance from you. One-touch access also connects buyers to their Zip agent.
