Graduation

Medical Lake grads feel prepared

Kari Marcus
Medical Lake High School

We the class of 2003 from Medical Lake High School have made it. ... We're finally free!

In our four years here, we've seen each other grow each day as a class full of life, love and laughter. We are diverse, unique, courageous and excellent problem solvers.

The seniors of '03 have now but one thing to do: Take with them so many memories.

Many of us have grown up together since preschool, and others have moved in either by choice or from Fairchild to become a part of the Cardinal nest. Through the years we've come together as several groups of friends.

From the ABCs, finger painting, and block building to AP classes, ceramics and calculus solving, and from our first dance ever to our last senior prom, we cherish these moments as we continue on.

If we really sit down and think about it, these truly have been some of the best days of our lives. Whether we've participated in sports, joined a club, dressed up for Spirit Week, copied homework in the halls, spent some days in detention or even endured the famous cafeteria food, we shall never forget our days here.

Now that it is time for us to move on to the real world, we can know that we are prepared for what is ahead of us.

As we graduate, think of these words: “Draw a crazy picture, write a nutty poem, sing a mumble-gumble song, whistle through your comb. Do a loony-goony dance 'cross the kitchen floor, put something silly in the world that ain't been there before.”

Congrats, Class of 2003!
