Disincorporation meeting to discuss petition drive

Citizens for Disincorporation will hold a meeting Wednesday to discuss its petition drive to dissolve the city of Spokane Valley.

The group is trying to collect the signatures of half the registered voters in Spokane Valley, or about 21,000 people, to put the measure on the ballot for a vote.

The meeting will be at 6:45 p.m. in the North Pines Middle School library.
