Group seeking to dissolve city to meet tonight

Citizens for Disincorporation is holding a meeting tonight.

Anyone interested in working on the petition drive to dissolve the city of Spokane Valley is invited to attend.

The group must collect signatures from half of the registered voters in Spokane Valley, or 21,000 people, to put the measure on the ballot for a vote.

Organizer Sally Jackson said the collection has been going well and that the group will start counting the signatures later this month.

The meeting be
gins at 6:45 p.m. in the downstairs meeting room at the Spokane County Library branch on Main Ave.
