BASKETBALL

GONZAGA BOYS BASKETBALL

Gonzaga University will host two camps this spring and summer with instruction by current and former collegiate players and coaches. Children (ages 5-14) and their parents can attend the Parent/Child Basketball Camp May 28 and 29. Cost is $180 for one parent/one child overnight ($80 each additional child), $140 for one parent/one child commuting to camp ($60 for each additional child).

Gonzaga will also host an Individual Skills Camp f

WHITWORTH MEN's BASKETBALL

Whitworth College boys team camps will be held June 10-12, June 17-19, July 8-10, and July 15-17. Each team will play a minimum of seven games. Cost is $135 for players staying overnight (includes meals), $65 for commuters. Registration deadline for June camps is May 30, July camps June 30. The Sports USA Sports Complex will host a variety of basketball camps this summer including the Stacey Clinesmith Basketball Camp June 14-17 for girls ages 8-13. A skills camp for boys and girls ages 8-15 will run from July 20-July 23 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Craig Ehlo basketball camp for boys age 8-18 will run from July 26-29 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. A shooting and ball handling camp will run August 9-12 and is open to boys and girls ages 10-17. WAREHOUSE "LITTLE DRIBBLERS" BASKETBALL

The Warehouse Athletic Facility will host a Skill Development Camp for boys and girls ages 10-14 Aug. 9-12. Two sessions will be held each day -- Session One is Ball Handling and Passing and Session Two will cover Intensive Shooting Development. Cost is $125 per session or $225 for both sessions. Camp Gifford in Loon Lake, Wash., will host a variety of outdoors camps for kids ages 5-17 this summer. Sessions begin Monday, June 21 and run Monday through Friday through Aug. 20. Activities include swimming, canoeing, paddleboats, crafts, daily chapel and nightly campfires. Cost is on a sliding scale ranging from $60-$150 depending on household income. The 44th annual Inland Empire Natural Resources Youth Camp for 13-16 year olds and will be held at Camp N-Sid-Sen, 9 miles north of Harrison on Lake Coeur d'Alene from June 14-19. Camp will feature wildlife management, forestry, range management, soil science, fish ecology, and recreation. There will also be swimming, hiking, boating, fishing, and other activities. GONZAGA VOLLEYBALL

Gonzaga University will host both an individual (July 13-17) and team (July 7-11) volleyball camp this summer. Cost for individual camp is $330 for overnight campers and $275 for commuters.
