RIVERSIDE – Holy Names Music Center will present a "Performathon" Saturday in the atrium of River Park Square from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The event is a marathon recital performed by music school students age 4 through 84. The grand finale will feature the Holy Moley Jazz Band.

Parks offers Turkey BowlBEMISS – The Spokane Parks and Recreation Department is offering of activities for people of all ages during November. Some of the activities include:
•Flag Football Turkey Bowl, takes place at Andrew Rypien Field, 3535 N. Regal St., Nov. 21 and Nov. 22, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The double-elimination regional flag football tournament is for age 18 and older. Winners will receive T-shirts and trophies.
Cost is $400 per team and teams get an early-bird discount if registered by Friday.

•Children age 6 to 11 can bring out their creative side at Creative Adventure Camp, Nov. 19, 20, and Nov. 23 through Nov. 25, from 1 to 5:30 p.m.
The camp will be held at Corbin Art Center, 507 W. Seventh Ave., and costs $21 per student, per day.

Inland Crafts show starts FridayRIVERSIDE – The 27th annual 2009 Inland Crafts sale and exhibit will be Friday through Sunday at the Spokane Convention Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd.
Exhibits and artists include basketry by Shannon Kruger; ceramics by James Diem, Annie Dyer, Gil Harrison, Dan Ishler; glass by Jan Hoak, Kenneth Frybarger; photography by Raquel Edwards, Jim Nilsen; sculpture by Andrew Carson, Tom and Sam Bates; and much more.

Pioneer Park cleanup SaturdayCLIFF/CANNON – The Spokane Parks and Recreation Department will have a community cleanup at Pioneer Park, 507 W. Seventh Ave., on Saturday, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Friends and neighbors of the park are asked to bring spring rakes and work gloves, and will attend an orientation before they work.
Pioneer Park was acquired by the Spokane Park Board in 1945 and is named in honor of prominent pioneers Daniel Chase Corbin, Frank Rockwood Moore and Senator George Turner.

Shadle bands to honor veteransNORTHWEST – The bands of Shadle Park High School, 4327 N. Ash St., will present the 23rd annual Salute to Veterans Concert Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The jazz band will perform big band tunes and the concert band will perform "The Battle Hymn of the Republic," "When Johnny Comes Marching Home," "God Bless the USA," and "An Armed Forces Salute," which will feature music from all branches of the military.
A reception will follow the concert to honor those who have served or are serving in the military.
