Catching up: Donna (Bagdon) LaRose had a busy year in 1951. That year, she was crowned Lilac Queen, graduated from college, got married and started her first teaching job at Roosevelt Elementary. She is now a retired school teacher. She lives in Post Falls with her husband, Howard. They have three children and two grandchildren.
