High school highlights
Attended Tecumseh High in Oklahoma City…competed in basketball and football, where he was coached by Steve Huff…running back for the Savages…JUNIOR season earned honorable mention all-league honors as a running back…SENIOR year football team captain.

RYAN’S SEMINOLE STATE COLLEGE CAREER FRESHMAN (1998-99): Did not play football at the Oklahoma school. RYAN’S SANTA MONICA JC CAREER: RS-FRESHMAN(2000-01): Toted the ball 60 times for 422 yards and two touchdowns while serving as a backup to current Cougar teammate John Tippins. RS-SOPHOMORE (2001-02): Earned all-conference first team honors as a running back and was named to the Western State Conference team…team captain and team MVP…gained 1,051 yards rushing on 177 attempts and averaged 5.6 yards per carry…finished fourth in rushing in the conference…also made 12 receptions for 221 yards…scored 10 touchdowns.

RS-SENIOR (2002-03): Enrolled at WSU in January 2002 and participated in spring drills.
