Duties & Responsibilities The Agency Recruiter and Trainer will have full life cycle recruiting responsibilities from understanding business needs, candidate generation, overseeing interview process, to on-boarding new hires and training development. Essential Duties Include: • Engage candidates and bring them into the recruiting process • Recruit, interview, and select final candidates for frontline interview and assessment • Manage the selection process, assess candidates and serve as primary contact person for both the candidate and sales managers • Build, filter and grow the pipeline of candidates using sales aptitude assessment and online Contact Management System • Insure all new agents complete the on-boarding processes including insurance licensing, contracting paperwork and initial training schedule in both classroom and field • Develop product and sales concept training - via classroom, webinars, and new technologies Experience & Job Requirements • 2+ years of experience in recruiting • 2+ years of sales and insurance • Maintain and increase knowledge of recruitment best practice tools and methodologies • Intermediate Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to commit to and satisfy specific recruiting benchmarks and timelines • Strong consultative and relationship building skills • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal • Excellent skills in building and presenting products and concepts to audience • This position will be based in Spokane, WA with overnight travel as needed. • Life, health and annuity knowledge, a plus • Recruiting experience within the Financial Services/Sales industry, a plus Compensation & Benefits Our compensation package includes a competitive salary and a full suite of benefits including a matching 401k and paid vacation. The Spokesman-Review is recruiting for a part-time Photo Archivist (12-15 hours per week, flexible days Monday~ Friday) for our award-winning newsroom. As part of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that photos are entered accurately into the computer archiving system. Here’s what we will need you to do: Key Responsibilities: • Catalog photos from daily editions of the newspaper into the computer photo archive system. • Research within photo archive for customers to find requested information. • Handle photo sales and process payments for customers through phone and email requests. • Scan historical photographs for archival purposes. • Order photo supplies for the department. • Submit photo equipment for repair. • Opportunity for extra hours while covering vacations for clerical positions in the news room. Requirements and Skills: • Typing a minimum of 40 wpm. (Will be tested) • Attention to detail, with excellent spelling skills. (Will be Tested) • Basic skills with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Photoshop knowledge is preferred, but not required. Position: BUILDING MAINTENANCE–

River Park Square is currently recruiting for a full-time, entry-level Building Maintenance position. Shifts will be Saturday- Wednesday, 10am – 6pm. This entry level position will perform general maintenance for the property by painting, performing light repairs to masonry, drywall, woodwork, plumbing, and basic electrical repairs. Also responsible for ground maintenance such as pressure washing sidewalks, snow removal and set-up for Marketing’s events. Requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds. The pay is $12/hour plus benefits and a matching 401K. Position: MACHINIST/MILLWRIGHT

If you are a person who loves to troubleshoot, repair mechanical problems, manufacture and rebuild parts then we may have the perfect position for you! The Spokesman-Review is currently recruiting for a full-time Machinist/Millwright to work in our production department. What we want you to do… • Learn the functions of, troubleshoot and repair production equipment. • Make and install parts for all production equipment. • Be self motivated and work independently. • Work Tuesday through Saturday, 7pm – 3:30am (days & times may change according to production needs). Who you are… • Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 4 years experience working as a maintenance machinist in a production environment. • Have a working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and repair manuals. • Ability to setup and operate manual machine shop equipment to close tolerances (Lathes, Mills, ECT). • Understanding of disassembling, repair and/or machine/manufacture parts, and reassemble plant equipment. • Have welding skills to include Arc, MIG/TIG and gas. • Preference will be given to Journey level machinists/millwrights with AA degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
