As the Chief Developer of Digital Products for the SR Media design team, you will have the opportunity to supervise and coordinate software projects for a team of web developers. You will take general guidance and goal statements from company managers and develop a detailed plan to proceed with project development and then convert that plan into tasks for developers. When necessary, work is coordinated with other departments to complete projects or tasks. Not only will you be responsible for the web developer team, but you also will ensure that tasks are completed using proper development techniques and that industry standard security considerations are taken into account. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement UI components for public facing pages for Spokesman.com and its other web-based products and niche websites.
• Assess tasks and projects completed by your team for correctness.
• Have creative input in UI and UX decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing to prototype experimental features.
• Lead prototype development of new UI interactions.
• Show leadership in suggesting new product features, novel interactions and innovative solutions.
• Be a liaison between Design and Marketing.
• Stay on top of trends in design, data visualization, and mobile technology.
Requirements and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or other related field; or four plus years industry experience or equivalent combination of both experience and education.
• 5+ years industry experience with 2+ years experience with Django.
• Intermediate Proficiency with HTML/CSS/JS/AJAX.
• Demonstrated aptitude and intermediate-expert proficiency in creating, maintaining and troubleshooting applications created using the Django framework.
• Intermediate Proficiency in the Python programming language.
• Basic-Intermediate proficiency with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Basic with revision control tools i.e. SVN, Git, Mercurial.
• Basic ability with the Linux.

Position: Night Janitor

Centennial Real Estate Investments is currently recruiting for a 40-hour per week Janitor position. This FT position will work Sunday – Thursday nights from 8:00 pm – 5:00 am. This position will clean company work spaces including floors, furniture, equipment, walls and windows. Will also empty trash receptacles; collect and separate recyclable materials, clean restrooms and shower rooms; assist with winter ice and snow removal. This position requires the ability to work in an efficient and productive manner without direct supervision. Duties and assignments may rotate so the ability to multitask and work harmoniously in a team environment is essential. Previous janitorial experience is preferred. Requirements include the ability to lift 50 pounds, a valid driver's license and a High School Diploma or GED.
