Idaho 2nd Legislative District House Seat B

About this race: Incumbent Dick Harwood says constituents should elect him to a fifth term so he can use his fiscal conservative values to help the state “whittle back” during tough economic times. Though he’s been pegged as one of the state’s most controversial legislators, Harwood says he’s simply trying to hold people accountable for what they’re doing. C.J. Rose lives in a rustic cabin with no appliances and a couple chain saws and says she’s good at fixing things. “Our system of providing services to the people who need them in North Idaho needs fixing,” said the openly gay candidate. She has worked as an educator and with seniors and pledges to represent both ends of the age spectrum.

Constituency: Shoshone County and parts of Bonner and Kootenai counties.
