Political: Colfax School Board 1996-1998; Colfax Chamber of Commerce, vice president in 1994, president in 1994. While president passed a bond issue to do the street project. It was a rewarding challenge to pass that vision on to the people. Worked with Sheahan last five legislative sessions in Olympia.
Key issues: His great grandfather chose Eastern Washington because it was a place of opportunity. "We just don't see that happenning enough now." "My main thrust will be to help create an environment where Eastern Washington is a place of opportunity again." Get jobs here. That will bring people with families... state funding follows those kids to school. "If I do get elected I will be in the back row of the house for some time.. it will be incremental steps."

First priority if elected: Already has built relationships there, but whould work to establish himself as a credible, effective person with ideas but with humility as well. You don't want to rush in. You pay your dues and be respectful and make connections.
