Education: Attended Shadle Park High School in Spokane then received a bachelor of arts degree in political science/government from Eastern Washington University and is a credentialed cooperative director and board leadership certified through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.

Professional: Worked as a Senate intern in Olympia, Wash., after college then opened Lawyers Legal Liaison investigative business in Spokane. Moved to Priest Lake and became a Licensed Real Estate Agent and started Priest Lake Construction. Has served as chairman of the Outlet Bay Sewer Board, commissioner/captain of the West Priest Lake Fire Dept., vice president and secretary of Northern Lights Electric Cooperative, was a trustee of Northwest Public Power Association, and board member of Idaho Consumer Owned Utility Association, Idaho Energy Authority, Co-op Energy LLC; sits on the Bonner County Waterways Committee. Also served as special master and referee on several Bonner County legal issues.

Political: Worked on the Washington state K-12 education bill as a Senate intern and has been elected to serve on more than a dozen different boards and committees and is still active in most of them.

Key issues: Supports the Idaho timber industry and other natural resource interest for all of North Idaho; school funding; safekeeping of the environment to include keeping lakes and rivers alive and the eradication of Eurasian Milfoil; creation of jobs by working closely with economic development corps; defends accessibility of Idaho Public Lands and management of roadless areas of National Forests.

First priority if elected: Idaho's water issues. North Idaho's water issues are different than the South's and we must see that our needs are addressed. Help organize and implement a state-wide effort to fight and eradicate Eurasian Milfoil before it becomes a problem that cannot be overcome.
