One dead in ATV accident

A 26-year-old man died this morning after he fell off an ATV and was drug a short distance, according to the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

Jeremie Moore was changing irrigation sprinklers in the 2500 block of Benge-Ralston Road south of Ritzville when he called his employer about 9:10 a.m. and said he'd been in an accident and needed help, according to a news release. Med-Star crews pronounced him dead at the scene.

Preliminary evidence indicates he sustained severe internal injuries, according to the Sheriff's Office.
