Smokey the Bear returns?

Danny Perkins, a Sheriff in Panguitch, Utah, will no longer consider black bears a nuisance. Anyone who has been camping knows that leaving open containers of food in bear country is a big no-no; everyone except some Panguitch pot growers, that is. According to Perkins, a black bear raided the dopers property so often that it caused them to flee the area, leaving behind 4,000 "starter packs" of pot and and almost 900 plants.

You Might Not be the Only One Who Flunked that Test...

...Your school might have flunked the federal tests too. Fifteen out of eighteen traditional Spokane high schools didn't pass the standards set by the No Child Left Behind Act. All of the Spokane School District and Valley high schools failed to meet standards (standards vary from school to school, however). After an extensive standing ovation, Republican Vice Presidential pick Sarah Palin delivered her speech late this evening. I guess he didn't want everyone seeing his ideas on what would happen to someone who messed with him. Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin's baby, has deleted his MySpace.
