I think this was my favorite edition of the year, and I think our first that we did all the layout ourselves? Is that true? Anyone?

Editor in Chief Tori Dykes is a senior at Gonzaga Prep. She's currently an active member of her school's debate team and also enjoys reading and writing. She hopes to pursue these two passions at college and study communications, perhaps eventually entering the field of journalism.
Blogger Kyle Durfee is currently enrolled as a senior at Shadle Park High School. He is taking eight classes, including three AP classes, and he wishes he was taking easier ones this year. He is the Secretary of the Choir Department and Treasurer for the National Honors Society. His favorite classes are Jazz Choir and lunch, and dreams for the day when Jazz Choir and lunch can be combined. He is also an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He also believes that there is scarcely a thing on this earth cooler than ninjas.
Blogger Andrew Watson is a senior at Deer Park High School. An avid thespian, Andrew has taken part in several plays for Spokane Children's Theatre, Deer Park High School and Spokane Civic Theatre. He spends time working with computers and video games. Andrew is contemplating either careers in teaching, acting, technology or journalism, and is currently working at The Salty Dog, a restaurant in Deer Park.
Blogger Christopher Garlock is a senior at Gonzaga Prep. He is a member of NHS and enjoys politics, reading, writing, seafood and all sorts of movies. Christopher dreams of breaking the rules just once without getting caught. He plans to major in English or history in preparation for law school. He hopes to become a criminal defense attorney based in LA.
News editor Andrea Chapin is a varsity debater, radio co-host on KYRS, accordion player, belly/salsa-dancer, NHS member and an avid proponent of global citizen diplomacy, particularly in the Middle East. Andrea hopes to attend Reed College in Portland after her two remaining years at Ferris to pursue an eventual - and lucrative - career in, well … employment. In a word, she describes herself as “granola.”
Sports Editor Clinton Slovarp is a junior at West Valley High School, as well as a full time Running Start student at Eastern Washington University. Clinton is one of the drum majors for the West Valley Marching Band and plays the French horn, mellophone and piano. He is a member of Link Crew and National Honor Society, and is considering pursuing a career in pharmacy at WSU.
Copy chief Adam Kuntz is a senior at North Central. He enjoys reading the news and hanging out with friends. Though unsure of his future career path, he is interested in taking journalism or psychology at the University of the Virgin Islands.
Copy editor Ashley Johnson is a senior at Central Valley who loves to read and write. She is an active member of the Latter Day Saint Church. She competes for the Central Valley gymnastics team, and loves various other extracurricular activities.
Copy editor Danielle Price is a junior at Mt. Spokane High School. Her interests include creative writing and acting, and she hopes to go to a college with a good English program to pursue a career in either teaching or journalism.
Copy editor Jamie Wachter is a senior at Lakeside High School. She is the class president as well as the president of their chapter of National Honor Society. She loves to read and write and plans on attending the University of Montana to get a degree in either journalism or graphic design.
Photo Editor Lauren Colton has lived in Spokane for 14 years. She is currently a junior at Mead High School and loves both developing her own photos and digital photography. She loves music, tea and writing in the margins of books. One day she hopes to become a photojournalist and live in Seattle.
Design editor Anna Marie Schaefer is a native of Spokane. She was home schooled through 5th grade, and attended St. George’s School through 9th grade. She is 18 and is currently attending EWU through Running Start. Next year, she hopes to attend college to study fashion design, specifically in Belgium. Her other interests include piano, photography, dance and languages.
Design editor Megan Brownlee is a Mt. Spokane senior who is currently attending Spokane Falls Community College through Running Start. She is the academic vice president of SFCC, and is interested in debate, politics and philosophy. After she graduates, she plans to attain a bachelor's degree and a Ph.D. in philosophy to use toward her writing. She hopes to pursue a career in journalism and eventually publish a book.
A & E co-editor Robert Weigle, is a senior at Lewis and Clark High School. He hopes to attend college in either the Seattle or Portland area, and will major in English or a related field. He would like to make a career out of writing, or possibly music.
A & E co-editor Sophia Lawhead enjoys long walks on the beach, reading Family Circus comics, and eating as much ice cream as she can get. Sophia can often be found outside of the old Rock Coffee, kicking pebbles at the door. She is a senior at Lewis and Clark High School, and thinks "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" is way overrated.
Opinion editor Conor Wigert is a junior at Lewis and Clark High School. He would like to attend college on the East Coast, but he still has two years to decide. For now he enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, writing and ridiculously bright colors. He most definitely does not like wearing wet socks. He is also a varsity member of the school soccer team.
