There are so many great stories to tell in our community, but unless you enlighten me, chances are I'll never know about them. I'm looking for stories about interesting people, gatherings, or events from within The Spokesman-Review's circulation area. Photojournalist Colin Mulvany spent his first 17 years at The Spokesman-Review documenting his community in still photographs. With the blessing of his editors, Mulvany has been freed up to pursue his new passion of telling stories with a video camera. In his spare time, he teaches photojournalism at Spokane Falls Community College. When seeing people panning and zooming too much with their video cameras, Mulvany has been known to hold on-the-spot mini workshops stressing the importance of steady video.
