Jimmie Johnson back in lead in NASCAR

Well, my early pick for the Nextel Cup championship, Jimmie Johnson, has fought his way back after a rough start in the chase, and now sits at the top of the pack. Can he hold on? I think so, but it won't be easy with Matt Kenseth and Dale Earnhardt Jr. right on his tail.

Check out this chase rundown at CBS Sportsline.

If Jimmy doens't win this year he will never win. I honestly think that the only thing that would cause him to lose the title would be an engine failure. I would think most would drive carefully around him this weekend which should eliminate the wreck senerio for the most part.
