MY FAVORITE CAR
1957 Studebaker Champion Deluxe Sedan
Why I love it: I love this car because it is not what it appears to be.
It is a real sleeper with a 1964 Studebaker V-8 with a 3-speed overdrive.
Favorite experience: I was going to car shows with my oldest son when he was between the ages of 8 and 12. When we got close to the car shows he would beg me to let him come up to the front seat so he could see all the cars as we pulled into the show. I would let him stand up in the front, not on the seat, but just stand up and look over the dash board. He would be so excited and that image of him being so small that he could stand up and just barely see over the dash will never leave my memory.
My next car will be: A red 50s pick up truck.
